I've done plenty yayo in mehico, this that, never been in a mexican jail thankfully.....shit, there's this lobster village called puerto nuevo south of
Rosarito Beach (where some american chick and 3 mexican nationals were found shot in the head last week) and EVERYBODY is in on the business. I rode my
motorcycle up there once to score when we were camping at Playa La Fonda, went up on the patio at a family restaurant ordered a beer and tapped my nose.
"you tip?" "Si senor".......within 10 minutes I had the order and dude said "you go to bathroom and check it out"....hahaha.....I
just thanked and tipped him, and went back to a fun time on la playa for the rest of the night.

Everyone IS in on the business down there. Theres one restaurant in Puerto Nuevo I know of that is famous for that. One time we were at some gated community
south of PN and someone talked to a random security guard about scoring. The guard drove to Rosarito and came right back with some quality. Ive been to that
family restauraunt in La Fonda too but never asked about.... They jacked their camping rates like 4X but the reason noone will goto Baja anymore is the reports
of the paramilitary gangs robbing and killing people.
My only experiences with police in Baja entailed arguing about how much we would pay them to go away.. edited to say my favorite part of La Fonda is the guy who is missing half of his face who tries to sell you a flight on one of those shady hang glider things with an engine.

never scored at la fonda, that was PN......we were staying in one of those rental trailers at La Fonda..... but they did give me the "aunt jemima"
treatment on some fish filets I ordered when I was all fucked up.....20 bucks you get out of anything in the baja......headed to san felipe' one laaaate
night, drinkin' brews whatnot.......got our shit setup under a palapa on the beach and headed into town for a couple 20 packs. we took our buddy's
travelall and hit a checkpoint on the way back, both the steering and my bro all fucked up, and we took out a bunch of diversion cones......got out the truck,
were standing there negotiating and my bro luper had 2 10's.......he gave the soldier one 10, and the fucker snagged the other 10 out of his hand and luper
snagged it right back. Everybody laughed, we gave them a couple ice cold coronas and we were on our way.

I've done 45 days and 90 days in county jail. All for drugs. I'm not proud of it but it was an eye opening experience.
We lit cigarettes with pencil leads. You painstakingly dismantle a pencil and keep the lead intact. Most of the pencils were not conductive so you had to keep an eye out for the good ones. These were worth a few cigs if you could get your hands on one. You place a piece of lead about an inch long in each side of the outlet. You use a third piece as your striker. You twist up a piece of t.p. and make a sort of string out of it and twist it around the striker making a sort of T shape. Quickly strike the striker across the leads sticking out of the socket and a shower of sparks comes out. If you're fairly quick you won't trip the breaker and all is well in the cell. catch the sparks on another piece of t.p. creating flames and light your cigarette. This one idiot couldn't grasp the concept of "quickly" and was always tripping the breakers and they would shut our power off for a few hours. No one gave him cigarettes. |
