I was briefly talking with Hadeed about this....

I originally was wondering why Amare/CP were off the list, but a lack of D and a lack of size, respectfully, were pointed out and that makes total sense. But Deron being left off (at least for now) and Kidd being on....well I don't get it.
Funny how the non-NBA euros are hard asses, where as the NBA ones (Dirk, Gasol, etc) are meat curtain specials.
I'd like to see Amare kill those Euros, but he's got to want to do it. I don't think he's that horrible on D, it just that he's played out of position at the 5 for most of his career, being matched up against much bigger guys. He's usually ranked in the top 10 for blocks and can be a good defender from the weak side(unlike Carmelo who doesn't guard anybody). The USA team needs some size other than Howard so they don't get worked on the boards.
Garnett a top 10 PF of all time? I think that's a bit of strech, considering his weak post-up game. He's more of 3 than 4 in a lot of games. Can be a great player at times. I like PFs that get on the boards and score inside, like a Boozer, Malone, Barkley etc. Garnett floats around the 3 point line too much.
