yea agreed, for profit is bad. I was thinking more getting them for cost and no profit involved, just a group with common interests... but then again, doesnt the retailer kind of profit.....

i was talking about the print shop or disc retailer (or whoever would do the work of applying the prints on the disc properly), not making up a bunch of these to try and sell in a store......
duh, dude

but I did print off some of gener's pics onto some hq glossy paper. i normally set up down by the wharf. I got a mixture of city scapes and gener pics...good stuff, very profitable for me. inbox me for a good deal.

I think that the manufacturer profits is inconsequential. They will charge you to put whatever you want on the disc regardless.

Definite difference between golf discs and ultimate discs. The only times I've played golf was using an ultimate disc. I would also prefer an ultimate disc if these are ever made and I would buy many of them. Do you play ultimate letoffsteam?

Do you play ultimate letoffsteam?

I've played a few times, although I'm thinking of joining the local league so I can play weekly. However, I like the ultimate discs for regular old throw-and-catch anyway, they're nice and heavy.

How do you step from the top of a 100-foot pole?

keest, i might have played with bob at the usdgc in rock hill in 03/04, sounds familiar, but can't put a face to him. I started touring back in '01

i have played in kentucky, at a private farm Brock Woodall owns. He invented the birdie "wood chip" bag. haven't been to BG open yet.

ultimate discs are a bigger diameter, don't go as far as a golf disc, but you can catch them w/out losing a digit. weights are the same, about 175 grams. there are specs for legal golf discs.

getting too technical for frisbee? well, we are trying to promote our PDGA organization and gain support (see, i didn't say sponsorship) from people with MONEY. Who wants to give money to a bunch 30-something stoner dudes? We did have Budweiser as an affiliate (see, no sponsorship word again...) for a major event, but a camera caught a golfer toking some bud before he teed off..... lost that account.(sponsor)

sir loin, i dye my discs with liquid RIT you can find anywhere. mix in a little acetate for brighter coloring.
