Seeing Betty Carter at the Blue Note. When she came on stage I just started weeping. R.I.P.
Recently, my friends came to town for a memorial concert for our friend Charlie who died a year and a half ago. They showed some movies he made and the entire time had a huge picture of him on the screen behind them, as well as his ashes on stage. It was actually a really funny concert, but when they got to the end, they busted into my favorite song and I just lost it. Curled up and bawled right there. I sure miss that guy. |

the last time I cried was when I had to put Petie down. He was a good dog. After he had passed, he was lying on the table with his little tongue sticking out.
He looked really cute, but he was dead, so I cried.
I've cried at two movies, both times in the theater. Once during the storming the beach scene in Saving Private Ryan. When the film goes in to slow motion and the soldier was carrying his arm, oh man did I bawl, crying, "that's so bad." Then, the other movie I cried at was Black Hawk Down when the American soldier gets sniped in the hummer when they are speeding through the streets, trying to escape. I had to leave the movie that time. I got pretty teary eyed once after the singing of the National Anthem at a Braves game when about 5 F-15 (?) flew overhead. That was a rush!

i cry-NEVER used to..more than i have in my whole life..driving really gets me.
if i hear anything from pet sounds..beach boys..i physically shake........it smells of goodness and death..both a tug of war..fighting for a spot.. damn eyelashes...black...drip. slowly...i can smile again..i don't have to use the umbrella for the little cloud that follows me..and i think the RED X..has moved on to someone else. |

movies, concerts, radio, hell even tv commercials get me. im a cry baby. the dog thing is the worst. came home from the bar and found my sweet puppy, rufus
dead on the floor one night. apparently he thought rat poison was tasty. live and learn. that was a tough one. when we buried him in the back yard, that was
rough. puppies dying is worse than old dogs going. when my Bud, who is 11 now goes it will be tough but i hope i can focus on the good times. maybe i will get
a puppy before then and maybe that will help.
but the all time worst for me is without a doubt, Where the Red Fern Grows. that last paragraph is fucking brutal. |

I took a girl to see Big Fish on one of our first dates. For some reason it tore me up. I kept it cool for a while then towards the end let out this weird
bitchy weep. Wonder what she's up to now?

I never cry at concerts. Movies get me lately though. WALL-E would've made me weep if they pressed certain areas harder

This girl I dated had a kid of 7 and we watched this... 15 minutes into the film, he squeezes himself in next to me on the couch... at the end, well, I got a tear or 2 in my eye and he looks up and matter-of-factly says "Don't worry, Robots can be fixed." heh... I don't know if it was the movie or the sudden realization that I wasn't man enough to handle a relationship with a beautiful, amazing single mother and a brilliant, wonderful young kid like that... I'm glad she found a guy deserving enough and the little guy has grown into a teenager... that just brought a tear to me eye.
