d700 just announced this morning.. $2999
full frame in a d300 body.. basically a pimped out answer to a canon 5d. anyone want to buy a d300?

ahh, i'm just talkin' out of my ass..
i don't need full frame right now.. pro "smaller" senoors (like the d300) will be phased out, but not for another 3-4 years (jump from d300 to d700 leaves room for 3 more small senosor pro cams) d400. d500. d600. i'll sell in 2 years and pick up a d3 for $3000. d3 is what i want, no matter how old the tech is. |

Nice texture on the rocks. I also like the shoulder....you could zoom way in so it isn't clear as to what it is. The rocks/sand/freckles and shoulder all
have a cool quality that'd be unique up close and mixed together.
Not critiquing....just a thought. Good stuff as always Nic. |

no bag it's cool, any comments are welcomed, i see what you are saying too it would be a different photo, about textures, which is always nice too. unfortunately my camera doesn't zoom in that close i shot it with a rolleiflex box camera from like the 50's so the range is real small. but i like the idea. edit to say i was going to crop it up, but the necklace on her neck holds her dead fathers ashes. i just thought thought that was way too creepy/cool to crop out.

i actually put it in backwards AGAIN on the bus ride out to Tulum (this was shot at the mexican ruins) and i'm sitting there thinking, shit i think i put in it wrong again so i opened it up and exposed about a 1/4 of the roll but it worked out ok. i had more film too so it was fine. haha thanks tho! |
