I should have gotten a clue from what I saw him do to other people.
First up was when he told me an old story about stealing an old roommate's debit card, right after the atm/debit combos became available. Shortly after the roommate moved out, he traded him his old "nice" wallet for a small amount of drugs. A month or so later when riding in the guy's car, he spotted the wallet stashed in the center console and then accused the driver of having stole it when they still lived together. Obviously the guy wasn't about to return it, so this in his head justified him stealing it back, and further so when he found the moron had a piece of paper stashed in a hidden pocket that had his pin number and some other passwords written on it. He and another friend then took it to an atm where they faked a deposit and withdrew a cash amount slightly smaller than the false deposit amount. They did this maybe three or four times before the card was shut down.
I don't even know how many stories I have about this like him, but the ones that obviously piss me off the most are the ones where he took advantage of my drug-addled and overly trusting naivete...or outright stupidity.
