We ended up at Seamus McCaffrey's which was cool; thanks for the tip. It was filled with Waits fans still high on the show and Celtics fans still high on the victory. Odd crowd mix. My buddy was so worked up by the Waits experience he spent like 100 bucks on a round of 12 year old Irish whisky. I gave props to some dude in Moistboyz shirt. He didn't seem to care. Dunno if it was anyone from here. I will remember that show when I'm in my rocking chair on the front porch. It was glorious. My review here.

I saw Nina Simone twice and both times the hall was pretty sweaty for that same reason. Kinda funny in Waits' case considering how raspy he is... but there's plenty of nuance in his voice too of course.

Now I am at work, with only 2 hours sleep and it was so fucking worth it. The Falling Down/Hang Down You Head back to back had me in tears, and that was only 2 songs into the show! One of the best artistic performances of any kind i have ever see. Only thing that sucked....they closed the bar once the show started, were they assuming we all had flasks? I'm nostalgic for conversations I had yesterday. I've begun reminiscing events before they even occur. I'm reminiscing this right now. I can't go to the bar because I've already looked back on it in my memory... and I didn't have a good time.
