Fresh off the Madison Square Garden stage with REM Thursday night, the band will head over to Brooklyn for a special performance which will be in the middle of the night Thursday into Friday morning June 20th. Tickets are only available through TicketMaster's TicketFast print at home option starting Thursday at 12:00PM EDT for $20. There will be a 4 ticket limit. Doors at the Music Hall of Williamsburg open at 1am tonight. 66 N. 6th Street Between Wythe & Kent I'm not going, but maybe you are... Rock on, -MB

If this had been an announcement for last-minute Ween gig at 1:30 AM in Shanksville, PA, you'd all be like... definitely going and stuff... actually i probably wouldn't i have no car and getting to that and trying to get back to work would not be good i've seen them enough to not kill myself getting to something like that i like modest mouse alot and i've only seen them a few times so it would be cool to see them again, just wish it wasn't so late, and i can't take any more days off.

I thought modest mouse put on the worst set of the night, little energy, lottsa wimpy moments. I don't think Johnny Marr was playing with them either. The crowd gave them a solid "meh". The ones that were even interested, that is. REM was pretty good, broke out a lot of old stuff, Stipe was on top of his game. The National wasn't that bad either, I liked their dark sound, it was the first time seeing them.

(cause they suck live) so they quit allowing tapers (i'm a taper and was told to take my shit out) i said "i've taped them before??" dude said, "no more taping, we do not allow taping" i said "is that cause most of their bootlegs suck, i mean their shows, not the quality of the recording?".. this all coming from me, an old school, very big mm fan.. . they went from sad and gritty to snooty and poppy. i still love them though. $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

If I ever saw them I would want to hear like Doin The Cockroach, Dramamine, Tundra/Desert, Polar Opposites, Lounge (Closing Time), Tiny Cities Made Of Ashes, and Cowboy Dan for sure. The last 2 albums they put out haven't been too good at all, but atleast Good News had Ocean Breathes Salty and The Good Times are Killing me to save it. But I think We Were Dead sucks more than anything they've done so far. Who you jivin' with that cosmik debris?
